ROB EYLES is an actor/singer/songwriter from Hampshire.

Since graduating with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre at The Guildford School of Acting, Rob has always been active writing and performing his own work.

As an Actor, Rob made his West End debut playing Ray in "Dreamboats & Petticoats" (Wyndham’s Theatre) and, most recently, played leading role ‘Jan’ in the English premiere of "14-18: A Spectacular Musical" (Nekkerhal, Mechelen). Other credits include "Around the World" (Mint Theater, NY/Sadler’s Wells), James Waltham in "The Wind Road Boys" (Gala Theatre, Durham).

He has also recorded the role of Larry on the concept album for the new musical "The Happy Hooker" and last year finished filming one of Stephen King’s short films "Night Surf", playing the role of Bernie.

 

A former teacher and author of history books for schools, ROBERT GOULD's musical theatre writing credits include "Roundabout" (with Joe Sterling) & "Shadow On The Sun" (with Omri Lahav & Jimmy Granstrom). With composer/lyricist Christopher J. Orton, he has co-written the musicals "Based On A True Story" (a workshop production of which was staged at the Jermyn Street Theatre in 2010), "My Land's Shore" (which received a workshop production at RADA studios in  2013), "Elephant Juice",  and "Grace Notes" (which was a finalist in the 2014 Leicester Square Theatre New Musical Project).

An album of songs with his lyrics – “Words Shared With Friends” - was released online on the Auburn Jam label in April 2014, followed by two live concerts at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge. 

 

EYLES & GOULD began collaborating together in July 2014 and some of their songs were performed at the "Writers' Playground" concert of new writing at the Union Theatre in September 2014.
