OMRI LAHAV (composer)

 

 Composer, orchestrator, arranger and multi-instrumentalist Omri Lahav owns and operates Lahav Studios in Beninyana, Israel. Having taken his first piano lesson at the age of 3, he begun to study and compose orchestral music at the age of 13 and by the age of 20 he was composing and producing soundtracks for European theatres from his home studio. He graduated in advanced orchestration studies at Berklee College Of Music and has composed countless music soundtracks in a variety of genres, including classical, jazz, electronic and contemporary music.

ROBERT GOULD (librettist/lyricist)

 

Bob Gould is a musical theatre librettiist/lyricist who has also written lyrics in pop/rock/folk genres. His musical theatre credits include the musicals MY LAND'S SHORE, ELEPHANT JUICE, BASED ON A TRUE STORY & GRACE NOTES (all with composer Christopher J. Orton), ROUNDABOUT (with songwriter Joe Sterling) and A PEBBLE FOR AARON (with composer Rob Eyles). He wrote lyrics for the albums MORE WITH EVERY LINE,  SURROUNDED BY THE SOUNDS (with music by Tim Prottey-Jones) and SOMEWHERE IN MY MIND - THE SONGS OF JOE STERLING. An album of songs with his lyrics written with a variety of composers, WORDS SHARED WITH FRIENDS  (released via the Auburn Jam label on iTunes in April 2014), was nominated for a Broadwayworld Award in the Best Compilation Album category. (Two songs from SHADOW ON THE SUN feature on the WORDS SHARED WITH FRIENDS  album.)

JIMMY GRANSTROM (librettist/lyricist)

 

Jimmy was born in Stockholm, Sweden, earned a PhD in Materials Science at UC Santa Barbara and currently works as a Product Development Chemist in the Portland area in Oregon.  He has conducted research in the field of organic electronics at Bell Labs, UC Santa Barbara, Georgia Tech and Umea University.  Wearing his hat of librettist/lyricist, he co-wrote the musical RON AND JULIE, which was performed in Stockholm in 2001 and  (with Robert Gould) co-wrote the Book & Lyrics for the musicals THE DYING GAME and NOVA.
